Frequently asked questions
About material, assembly, delivery, sizes and warranty. Can't find your answer? Write to us.
What is GardenBlocks made of?
Solid Northern European pine. The blocks are precision-milled and sanded, with no chemical preservatives, so they suit growing vegetables, herbs and flowers.
How does the modular system work?
Blocks are laid in rows and joined with wooden pegs. On every row the corners interlock alternately and the seams shift, so the structure is stable. No glue or screws.
Do I need tools to assemble it?
No. A typical raised bed goes together by hand in 10–20 minutes. Larger walls take longer, but the principle is the same.
What can I build?
Raised beds, retaining walls, terrace edges, benches, sandboxes, compost bins and custom-size planters.
What sizes are available?
Ready kits in the most popular sizes. For your own size, use the 3D configurator or request a quote. Sizes change in 7.2 cm steps in length and 9.5 cm in height.
How long does pine last outdoors?
Many years with good drainage and oiling once a season. We recommend a liner in raised beds. A damaged block can be replaced on its own.
Where do you deliver?
Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Delivery in Jelgava is free.
How is delivery priced?
A €10 base fee plus €0.30 per kilometre of driving distance from Jelgava. You see the exact price before you pay.
Can I get a different colour?
Yes. In your request, choose natural pine, dark brown, grey or a colour of your own.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. The pine is untreated and sanded smooth, with no metal parts. Children should be supervised while playing.
What is the warranty?
5 years against structural defects. If a block cracks or warps in normal use, we replace it free of charge.
Can I return my order?
Standard kits and blocks can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused. Items made to an individual design have no right of withdrawal, but the warranty applies.
